The ES5202 is a dual output current mode synchronous step-down DC/DC controller with PMBus compliant serial interface. It operates over a wide input range from 4.5V to 42V. It includes two high speed differential remote sense amplifiers and provides accurate regulation for a variety of loads with an accurate 500mV±0.8% reference over full temperature range.

The ES5202 features programmable soft-start and power good indicators to simply power supply rail sequencing. Its peak current mode control architecture provides cycle-by-cycle peak current protection and excellent line load regulation.

The DC/DC controller employs a unique fast transient architecture to achieve fast transient responses for high step-down applications. Both CCM and DCM operation are supported.

The ES5202 supports frequency synchronization and multi-phase/multi-IC parallel operation. Up to six ES5202s can be paralleled to deliver 300A current.
